Ellie got to spend one day this week with a bunch of different drs. They found out that she has Bilateral Auditory Neuropothy. What I understand about this is that the mechanical part of her ear works just fine but the auditory nerve that sends the message to the brain is not functioning properly. Time will tell the severity of this in her.
Also her left hip displaces out of its socket. So she gets to wear a brace and hopefully it will take care of that problem.
And if that isn't enough, she has developed an umbilical hernia. At least that is a quick fix.
From the pictures I have seen and the reports I have heard from others, Ellie is a beautiful little girl. And Ellie is so blessed to have such a loving, caring family.
