Crazy Day

First off I have to say that I am mad at Ashley. I did my test last night and was comparing answers with her today. She convinced me to change an answer and my answer was right, before I changed it. But we took our answer verbatim from the book and it was marked wrong. Silly gov't people. Just so you know, I got even with Ashley because I talked her into changing an answer that she had right. Pay backs.

We actually got to go knock on doors this afternoon. It was so cold and windy. Several of us were sent to one of the RV parks that I did in Carlin with my last work. What a mess!!! The 1st time we went there some people had problems with duplicate numbers. There are still duplicate numbers. We stopped to ask the manager some questions. After having her stand out in the cold talking to us for over 5 min, we took off to work and discovered that our numbers were wrong so we had to go back and get that information again. I'm glad that she was cooperative.

Then the 1st door we knocked on the guy said that he answered this for some people just a few weeks ago. (UHM, that would have been my group that went in there. So why wasn't it recorded that his was complete)? I don't know. And after we completed ours, we went to meet up with our co-workers. They were doing the specific area that I did in that RV park. They were talking to a lady that I knew I had interviewed. And they got to interview "my friend" who offered me the beer. They didn't say if she offered them a beer.

We were so confused by the time we got out of there. And the best news is that the area we did today is not actually in our work area. The other group just shared some with us so we could get some practice. So now someone else gets to go out there and finish it and talk to the manager lady AGAIN and try to straighten it all out.

Tomorrow Ashley and I are working in Spring Creek. The good news is that I'm pretty sure that I can find my way home from there no matter how lost we get.

We're coming

Darn internet. The guy came and worked on it a couple of weeks ago and said he would have to come back tomorrow to finish it. I'm still waiting for tomorrow. I don't know when I will be home again for him to come. Sometimes I have internet and sometimes I don't. Frustrating.

I just want to warn you that if you have not yet returned your census, about a million or so of my closest friends will be infiltrating the country looking for you. We are hitting the streets of Carlin tomorrow in mass.

The highlight of class yesterday was when our field office supervisor visited our class. For those of you from Elko she is Carol Simmons Castle. I re-met her when I did my testing for the census. She lived in our ward for a bit many, many yrs ago and I didn't know her well then. She is a gabber and we were best friends by the time my test was done. Anyway, she knew most everyone in the group and said hi, then she saw me. She said, "Marilyn, I met your son in the Reno office." Then she proceded to tell the WHOLE story. Lance had had a job interview that day so he was dressed up when he went to work. She told him that he looked like a Mormon missionary. He told her that he had been one a few yrs ago. She asked him where he went on his mission and of course she had a kid living in Houston so they had to talk about that for a while. Then she asked him if he grew up in Reno. He said "No, in Elko". Well that got her going. She had to ask how old he was and if he knew her daughters. She told him that she taught him in Primary. And then she asked about Marilyn Simmons. Lance reluctlantly admited that I was his mom. So then they talked about that. And she gave all these details to our class today.

My blond friend, Ashley, from my last group is in this group. We will be doing some work together. I will have to give her a lesson of what my car looks like.

Entertainment or Work?

OK Trish and Amy. Perhaps I need to remind you that your entertainment of census stories is work for me. I put my life in danger for your entertainment. But that's why I get paid the BIG bucks.  NOT!!

I guess we are going to be working out in the boonies. Our area goes down to Ely on the south, however Ely city is not in our area. It goes up to Elko in the north, but again, Elko city is not in our area. So that leaves a whole lot of sage brush. I will be interested to see how this works out.

My friend Ashley from my last crew is on my crew again this go around. (You will remember her. She is the one who got in the wrong car, twice). Her parents were in our ward when she was young.

Boring

I talked to Isaac this morning on my way to census training. He said, "I love you Grandma." It sure made my day. It was even more boring and more unorganized than I anticipated. Basically I got paid for 9 hrs to sit for 5 1/2 doing nothing, work for 1 hr, 1/2 hr lunch, 1 hr travel and come home early. And the government wants to run my health care for me! Your tax money at work.

mystery

When I was staying with Lance and Molly, I slept on the couch. One night we all went to bed and all the lights were turned off. I woke up during the night and the kitchen light was on. I thought that was odd, but knew there must be some reason "they" turned it on so I left it. The next time I woke up, the light was off. The next day I made some comment about the light. They accused me of turning it on. It sounds to me like someone was sleep walking, but who was it?

The boys get to choose a song to sing before bedtime. There is no need to even ask Mark what his song is. It is ALWAYS the Ox Cart Song. And just before you finish singing it, he starts saying, "Again." My record was singing it 4 times for him. The first couple of days after I got home, that song kept running through my mind.

We were driving someplace with all 3 boys in the back seat. Mark was singing Jingle Bells and of course he finished it with "HEY". Molly asked him not to yell. I had to explain to her that he was singing Jingle Bells and we all know how the song ends. That boy is always loud.

While I am on a roll, I will share my first impressions of the boys on this visit. If you are tired of Simmons Boyz stories, it's time for you to stop reading.

When I saw Nathan he was all swaddled up. All I could see was his head. His face was round and his cheeks chunky. The next morning when I saw him with his body attached, his face didn't look so chunky. Molly said that he went from the 50th percentile to the 75th percentile between 2 dr visits. And that was before he discovered the yummy cereal he has started eating. Go Nathan.

Mark surprised me with how much he talks. He uses his original rendition of the English language and after a couple of days, I had most of the words down. It will be nice when someone finds his volumn knob. Right now it is loud or louder. I was real proud of him. He has called me ma-ma. Molly says that sometimes you could tell a difference from it and ma-ma as in mom. By the time I left, he was calling me gaw-ma. Good job Mark.

And now for Isaac. I was impressed that he speaks in sentences. He is lots of fun to talk with. And he already loves "Knock, knock" jokes. He is learning lots of primary songs and I never tire of listening to him sing. Keep up the good work, Isaac.

Well I start work with the census again tomorrow. I have 4 days of training. The first day will be finger prints and paperwork. Boring. Then I'm guessing that more than half of the rest of training will be repetitious. I guess I'd better get to bed early so I can stay awake tomorrow.

Grandma's weight loss plan

I wish it was marketable, I'd be a millionaire and Mike could retire.

I came home from Reno and weighed in. My weight was down. I didn't feel dehydrated but I needed to get a few groceries and came home with about 3 gallons of assorted beverages and lemons to make lemonaid. That's a pretty good sign that I was dehydrated. I ran some extra fluids and have rested up in between a morning of community clean-up with my cub scouts and I'm feeling much better.

I'm home

There's no place like home click, click. There's no place like home click click. But I couldn't find my ruby slippers so I had to drive home.

I had a great time with Lance and family. I will have more stories to tell and pictures to share, but not tonight.

I do have this to say right now. You know where you stand with Isaac. He did not want me to leave today so he would not tell me good bye.

Today's Adventure

Shortly after I arrived in Reno last Thur night I told Lance and Molly that I wanted to buy a new camera. I didn't know that it was on the top of their priority list. We ran out of toilet paper Fri morning and it was a toss up if the new camera or TP was at the top of the list. I can tell you which one was at the top of MY list, but we won't go there.

I really like my new little camera. It is so easy to put in my pocket and pack it around. It took me until Monday morning to figure out how to recharge the battery on it. Hey, I had little boys to play with.

I guess I got most of my work done today because Molly let me have some time off. She even helped me figure out how to post pictures on here. And she showed me how to do photoshop AGAIN. She and Lance have showed me about a dozen times and I don't practice and forget. I have promised to do better this time.

Here are some pictures of today's highlight.
Lance had none.

Molly had a milkshake.

And this is what the boys and grandma had. They need more practice eating ice cream cones. Maybe a trip or two to visit Grandpa Petersen would help.

I sure have had fun this week and after I go home and rest up, I will be missing the Simmons Clan.

Mark's treasures

I decided to post a couple of things while I'm still awake and can remember them.

Lance brought home a couple of reusable shopping bags. They are from the census bureau. One of the perks of his job, OK probably the only perk he gets. Anyway, Mark was carrying one around and started putting his most valuable treasures in it. The 1st thing was a cookie. He would not eat it because he wanted to pack it around. This is the kid who loves to eat. Then I unhooked my line and he got a syringe to add to his collection. He demanded the alcohol wipe that I used. Yep, it went in the treasure bag too. Silly little guy.

Last night when It was me VS the little monsters, I was holding 2 fussy little guys and Isaac had to go to the bathroom. He was doing a dance to the bathroom. When he got there the door was locked. If his eyes hadn't been yellow and bobbing, he could have unlocked the door. The poor little guy was desperatly calling for help. So here came g-ma to the resue with 2 boys in tow.

they ganged up on me

Late this afternoon Lance went to work and Molly went to a meeting. The way I figured it I was down 6 to 1 or so. However many there were; I was out numbered. Mark was grumpy and I thought dinner would fix most of his problem. He helped put the toppings on the pizza and took plenty of food samples. When the pizza came out of the oven, he ate some of the toppings off of it and that was it. Nathan decided to wake up so I was rocking him and holding Mark. Mark was almost falling asleep but it wasn't 6:00 yet. I was keeping him awake. Molly came home at 6:15 and told me he could go to bed. Of course, then he didn't want to sleep. He was so tired that he laid on my lap and didn't move for 1/2 hr. He was awake but not by much. Poor tired little guy.

I think Nathan has figured out the g-ma thing. Not long after the parents left he started crying. He never cries. As long as I held him, he was fine.

Since Mark went to bed early, Isaac got a little mom and g-ma time alone. He sang songs to me. It was priceless.

Molly and Lance do a great job. I can buck up for a couple of days but I know I can go home to my quiet little world in a couple of days. They are in it for the long haul. I am happy to help them out for a couple of days and grateful that they will let me come and spoil the little guys. Being a grandma is such a bonus for me. I hope the boys don't give their mom and dad too bad a time after I leave.

Busy Day

Molly and Lance got up this morning and went for a jog. I stayed home and did wind sprints following the boys.
We had a productive day today. Isaac and I started on his chore chart. We made his bed and we were picking up the clothes on the floor in the bedroom and then mom came to HELP???? She's a slave driver! She kept Isaac and Mark and me busy cleaning. But in less than an hour we had that room spotless. My main job was to entertain the boys so Molly could pack off some toys that she was giving away. Isaac and I made a gigantic tower with Legos.

It's not a good sign when the boys wake up from their nap tired. One of them was coughing and they both woke up. I was holding both boys at bedtime and reading them stories. Isaac almost fell asleep during the story.

Isaac loves to help g-ma with her TPN. Mark is becoming a good apprentice. Mark's favorite job is to push the button that makes the pump beep. The boys collect the syringes. Anyone want to guess how many syringes we have around the house? Molly and I each threw out several tonight. I made a rule that syringes cannot go to church. The boys love to put the syringes in their pockets. Don't worry. I take the needles off.

We ran the dishwasher tonight so we are good with that. But after 2 days off from the laundry, it is stacking up. A good job for tomorrow.

Sunday

We (I) survived one more day. We all went to church today. G-ma's lap can hold 2 boys. I'm not sure what adjustments I will make when Nathan needs a spot too. The boys did very good in church. Isaac had some church prophet figures he was playing with. He had to lay on the floor with them to keep Mark from sharing with him. At the closing song, Isaac was putting his figures away and Dad took Moses. Isaac was very upset. Lance needed Moses for an object lesson for his Sunday School class. Isaac was so upset that he refused to sing the closing song. Did I mention that Isaac loves to sing. Both boys were tired in Sacrament meeting. I guess it is hard work for them to entertain g-ma.

You might remember last time when I went to church with them, I had to go to Sunbeams with Isaac. This week was lots better. I dropped him off in Primary without an incident. Mark's nursery leader met up with him in the hall and took him to class. Once again no tears. Then comes Nathan. We decided today that he needs a bigger diaper. He had an explosion at church. Molly had to run home and get him clean clothes. It was a MESS. Then Nathan and I went to RS. Nathan slept the whole time. Wow. 3 for 3 on no crying in church. When I walked by the nursery Mark was snuggled on the nursery leader's lap. If he didn't fall asleep, he was close to it. Did I mention that grandma visits are tiring for everyone? We didn't even get through 2 stories before both boys were asleep at nap time.

After naps, the boys went outside with Dad and went bug hunting for food for his "eatie plants". Then the whole family went for a walk. We will have to clock the distance. It took about an hour. Isaac held g-ma's hand and walked the whole way. Mark was good and rode in the stroller and Molly carried Nathan. Lance took pictures to document our adventure. It took us about an hour. Isaac and g-ma were getting tired, but I am happy to report that we all made it home.  Everybody felt revived after eating a bowl of ice cream.

Today we got caught up on the dishes. For just a moment all the dishes were clean and since it was Sunday I don't have to worry about the laundry until tomorrow.

Yesterday Mark came up behind Isaac and wrapped his arms around him. I thought he was giving him a nice brotherly love. WRONG! He grabbed him, then head-butted him. It was kinda funny, but I couldn't let Mark know that. He missed Isaac with his head, so no harm was done. Lance and Molly said that Mark does that all the time, but he usually doesn't miss. Oh, boy. Are they in for some fun times. I remember a little boy who used to do the same thing in our house. He didn't usually head-butt but he used his head for a weapon. Little boys can be crazy.

It happened

I got the dishwasher going and did 1 1/2 batches of laundry. I was feeling confident and like I was on top of things. Nathan woke up. He and I talked and played for just a few minutes before the brothers got up. My bliss instantly ended. Isaac came in and said that he had wet the bed. I just thought I had conquered the laundry. Later I was reading Isaac a story and Mark disappeared and got very quiet. Upon investigation, he had a packet of baby formula powder spilled on the floor and he was eating what he could of it. We vacuumed the hall. We had a fun afternoon, even though they are so busy.

When I am here, I usually get to do bedtime stories. I read Isaac and Mark a book and then I tell them boring stories so they will go to sleep. Sometimes we talk about my days of hoeings sugar beets and moving sprinkler pipes. After I got the big boys to sleep, I came into the front room and Nathan was asleep. He soon woke up and started fussing. He told me that he was feeling left out because I had never told him any farm stories. So Nathan and I are dong farm stories now.

It's a Miracle but it won't last

Lance is at work. Molly took my car to get away by herself and do some shopping or whatever. And all 3 boys are asleep. I know that won't last for long but I am soaking in the quiet while it lasts.

Molly and I bottled some chicken this morning. I just started the 2nd batch. Now I have to try to get the dishwasher loaded before the chaos hits. I'm expecting it to get real crazy here soon.

Grandma Lessons

I am in Reno visiting 3 little friends. There were several things that g-ma had to learn or re-learn real quick.

1st: these boys wake up EARLY. But they were excited to see g-ma and I gave them hugs for g- pa and the other grandparents too. We all have to share. Mark cudddled up with me for quite a while. It didn't hurt that he was cold and I had the blanket.

2nd: the laundry room is in Lance and Molly's bedroom. I learned to shut the door tight when I am in there doing laundry. If not the boys go in there and raid mom and dad's stash of candy and we all get in trouble.

3rd: I learned that 5 people go through a LOT of laundry. Molly got behind when she was sick and I'm glad I have several days to try to get her caught.

4th: I learned that it's lots easier to have 1 little boy help with my TPN than 2 boys. Mark is very active and I had to really watch him close to not touch something he shouldn't. And to think it won't be long and I will have 3 helpers. And they all like to push the buttons on my pump. Mark found the one that makes it beep. He kept pushing it and both boys would giggle.

5th: These guys are so innocent and their giggles always make me happy.

6th: There is no down time. Even when we are sitting down, I am either entertaining them or trying to keep them out of trouble.

7th: Alway lock the bathroom door. Whether you are in the bathroom or not. And even then you may not be safe. Even though Mark is mostly potty trained, we still have to keep the door locked so he doesn't go in there and get in trouble. Isaac knows how to unlock the door from the outside. I was in there doing my thing and the door opens and there is Mark standing there alone with a great big grin. I soon found out that he had an accomplice. Isaac and I had a little chat about bathroom manners.

7th: I love being a grandma and am so grateful to be able to share in their lives. Thanks modern medicine. And thanks to Lance and Molly for sharing them with us and being such good parents to them.

Two thumbs up

I went to my pharmacy tonight. I was surprised that I could actually see the check out register. The other times there were so many people packed in there that I needed binoculars to see the registers. Even if they didn't have my scripts, I wouldn't have to wait very long for the bad news. I walked right up to the window and asked for my scripts. She said that she had them. But then she said that one of them was waiting the dr's approval for the refill. (I was sure that I still had refills left on it.)  I almost forgot, but I remembered to pick up my probiotic that I had them order for me. I was concerned about how much 4 scripts and 1 OTC would cost. It was less than $65. I was happy. That was after my bartering. They quoted me $21 for the probiotic and then wanted to charge me $30. I got it for 21 this time, but no more after this.

So the verdic is that it was a very good day at the pharmacy. They even gave me one script a few days early because I am going out of town.

Where's my brain

I was filling our pill dispensers today and realize that I am completely out on my prilosec. That and my thyroid meds are the only 2 that I know I can't live w/o. I can't believe that I let that happen. Worse yet is the fact that we have 5 scripts due to get filled. I'm hoping to call in the refills tomorrow and pick them up Tues. Stay tuned.

Friday, April 9, 2010

It's here...................

But where is it? I called my pharmacy this morning to see if their electrical problems were resolved and if they had my med. They answered yes to both questions. So I drove out there and stood in line for 15 min. That was ok because I was going to pick up my script and go home. Uhm. Or not. When I got to the window I was told that my meds were not ready yet. I said, "But they were this morning when I called." She said they were backed up because of the problems yesterday and it would be about a half hour. I said that I would wait. As I sat there I heard them talking about my meds. I heard someone say that she filled it early this morning. Then I see the tech going through ALL the bins for storing the filled scripts. A half hour later I hear, "I found it, you can stop looking" and shortly after that, I was  called to the window. Then I was told that the pharmacist wanted to talk to me. So I waited for him. He was concerned because my dosage was double the normal dosage and he wanted to verify that it was correct. He said that he had tried to contact my dr. I promised him that I would double check with the dr before taking it. Then the pharmacy tech came. I asked if it was in the wrong bin. She said no and didn't want to talk about it. She was pretty frustrated about going through all the bins when it wasn't in any of them. I'm guessing that the pharmacist had it set to the side and didn't tell anyone.

In defense of the pharmacy. They just moved into a new building and are dealing with those bugs and problems and they are switching over to Walgreens. That is where the BIG problem is. As I observed things for almost an hour this afternoon, I came to realize that almost everyone had problems getting their scripts. Many, like me, would stand in line and then spend time at the window and then go sit and wait until things were figured out. At this time, all the old scripts have to get new Walgreens numbers so no one can phone in a refill. Everything is a mess. They promise that things will get better. I told the tech that if things get worse, they'd all better leave. I can't wait to go back for more refills. But they did save me $8 on a probiotic that my doc wants me to take. It was $30 on line and they will sell it to me for $21. That sounds good to me.

I really can't believe that anyone would read this boring blog. If you made it this far, I should offer some kind of reward. But too bad; I'm not.

Thursday, April 8, 2010

Is it here yet?

I know you are all checking to see if I got my script today so you won't have to hear about it any more. It's  been a whole week since the doc called it in. I would hope that I have it. I was told that it would arrive early afternoon. So I wanted to give them plenty of time and I was waiting all day for the internet guy to come and he never did. I got out to the clinic and there was not a soul there. I'm thinking what the heck. They are supposed to be open now. The note on the door said that they were closed because of electrical problems. I'm sure what happened is that my script did not come in today so they needed some excuse to hold me off one more day.  Stay tuned.

On a happy note. The blond repellent that I put on my car is still working. Remember that I told you about my census co-worker who went to the wrong car twice. Well I drove when Trish and I visited our parents Monday. She went to put her soda in my car. She came back in and said that she started to put it in our parents car. No I was not parked where my parents always park.

Home

I got home yesterday afternoon. I was planning to stay a couple of days longer but my neighbor had surgery today and needed me to let her dogs in and out. They have been so good to me, it was no problem to come home early and help her. Besides, it would have been very bad on my bank acc't to stay there any longer. So this morning I had a couple of errands to run and stopped at Smiths to get an ad. They have a case lot sale going on. Yep. I loaded up. I hope my bank doesn't notice.

I stopped at my pharmacy to pick up my script as I got into town. They didn't have it. They had promised me that it would be in on Monday. The frustrating thing is that I was in SLC just 3 1/2 hrs before that and I could have got it there. He called around town to see if anyone else had it. (He told me he was going to do that last Fri but didn't). Meanwhile I was standing at the window for over 15 minutes and people were backed up wanting their scripts. It wasn't pretty. It is supposed to be in today. I'll keep you posted.

One of my highlights in SLC was lunch with Becky Low. It's been a long time since we have got together. It was good to visit with her. She is an amazing lady.
One question that I had for her was if people recognized her when she was out and about. It got answered w/o me even asking it. We met at Red Lobster. I got there before her. I went inside. There was 1 car in the parking lot and people standing in front waiting for customers. When Becky arrived they run to the door and opened it for her. I did NOT get that service. When we left, of course they ran to open the door for Becky and I hurried out behind her so the door wouldn't hit me before I got out.

Of course dinner with Trish and family and Julie and Norman was good too. Trish out did herself. We had meatballs and baked potato and salad with ALL the fixings. And then she pulls out the strawberry shortcake. My stomach was happy and I ate and ate and ate.

Sort of like............................

Trish and family made it to my house and spent Sat with us. The Easter bunny hid eggs all over my house. Keelee and Karley found all the eggs. Somehow the "K" girls got away without helping clean my house. They made up for it though because they both helped really good when we cleaned up grandma's house. I would still be there cleaning if it weren't for their help.

I am on another journey. I had a dr app't for Apr 27 in SLC. I may have census training that week so I called to reschedule. It took me 3 months to get this appt with him. They had a cancelation so I was able to make an app't less than 1 wk in advance. Trish and her family came to Elko for the weekend and Trish and Keelee came to my house Sun morning to ride back with me on Monday. We knew a storm was coming on Monday and the more we watched the weather it was decided that I would go to SLC Sunday. Trish and I decided that we would go visit mom and dad Monday. We were discussing with the girls what we could fix and take for g-ma and g-pa to eat. I mentioned Idiot's Delight as an option. The girls didn't know what that was so Trish explained what was in it. They said, "So it's like Shephard's Pie." Trish said that it was like Shephard's pie only different. A few minutes later I was talking about Husband's Delight. Trish asked what it was. I explained that it has g beef and tomato sauce layered with noodles mixed with sour cream and cream cheese and topped with cheese. Trish said, "Oh so it is like lasagna." I said, "Yep, just like it only different." Maybe you had to be there, but it was funny.

I saw my GI doc today. He is not my PCP but he is my primary dr. He is the one who has the final say on everything. Whenever I see him, I have to have blood work done. Today was a record breaker. They filled 13 vials with my blood. I hope they did the CBC to check for anemia first, because by the time I got to the last vial, I'm sure that I was anemic.

funny story

I have to share this funny story from my days as a census worker. When I was in Winnemucca, just one other girl and I was our team. She was my team leader so she would go tell the manager that we were there and find out what rooms we needed to go to. I was driving and pulled up to the 1st motel. I told her that I might drop her off and then leave. She told me I'd better not. There was another car parked next to me. I heard a car door shut and then heard this girl laughing. She got in my car and said that she had gotten into the wrong car. It just cracked me up. She said. "I opened the door and saw that you weren't there and thought, she really did leave. Where did she go". It just really tickled my funny bone. So I went to the 2 places there that I had to go to and went back to the car. She was going over the paper work and realized that she had to ask the manager another question. I almost told her to remember which car to get back in but didn't think that was necessary. She came out and went to the wrong car AGAIN. Yes, she is blond. But she is a cute girl. On the long drive home, I found out that her parents were in my ward yrs ago. I served in the primary presidency with her mom. Then her parents got divorced and they both stopped going to church. It is a small world and I almost didn't make that connection.

I also found out that one of the other ladies in my group used to live across the street from me.

I told you

I have had several things in cue to get printed whenever my printer decides it wants to work. They have been waiting for 3 days. So this morning I have had major issues with my internet this morning. Then out of the blue my printer decides that now is the time to print. Go figure. But it make me laugh.

Pharmacy Degree Or don't mess with me Part 2.

I'll try not to drag this storyout too long. My Dr phoned in a script for me today. I went to pick it up and was told that it was not called in. One of the pharmacists overheard the conversation and called me over to him. He asked my birthdate and then said that a mistake had been made with the script. It seems that they called in a script that doesn't exist. I said that's interesting because I have had that drug before, in fact I bought it here. He says just a minute. He comes back and says it is an unusual drug and we don't have any in stock. I said yes, it had to be ordered in last time I got it too. (But don't tell me that it doesn't exist). Then he says that today's order had already gone out so it wouldn't be in until Monday. Then he asked if I could wait that long. I told him, What else am I going to do? I don't see that I have any other choice. He said that he would call around and see if he can get it anywhere else. In defense of the pharmacy, they just barely moved into a new building. They have only been open for 2 or 3 days. But they'd better have their facts straight because they might be dealing with a professional patient.

They opened up this new clinic and pharmacy and they hauled over the ugly old chairs from the old clinic. And some of the chairs are worn out. I can't believe they have a brand new building and those ratty old chairs.

Don't mess with me

Mike made dinner for us a couple of weeks ago. It was all ready when I came home from work and it was very appreciated and good. He opened a jar of canned beets. We never eat beets because WE don't like them. I politely ate a few of them with dinner. The next day I was warming up our lunch and asked him if he wanted any beets. He said no. He's the one that opened them, so he was going to eat them. They got ground up and put in the bread dough. He said it was good bread.

games

You have probably already found this site, but I just found it. I dare you to try the hidden pictures. And then go to the New Era site and try those games. The primary games kept me entertained for a long time.
