I got the dishwasher going and did 1 1/2 batches of laundry. I was feeling confident and like I was on top of things. Nathan woke up. He and I talked and played for just a few minutes before the brothers got up. My bliss instantly ended. Isaac came in and said that he had wet the bed. I just thought I had conquered the laundry. Later I was reading Isaac a story and Mark disappeared and got very quiet. Upon investigation, he had a packet of baby formula powder spilled on the floor and he was eating what he could of it. We vacuumed the hall. We had a fun afternoon, even though they are so busy.
When I am here, I usually get to do bedtime stories. I read Isaac and Mark a book and then I tell them boring stories so they will go to sleep. Sometimes we talk about my days of hoeings sugar beets and moving sprinkler pipes. After I got the big boys to sleep, I came into the front room and Nathan was asleep. He soon woke up and started fussing. He told me that he was feeling left out because I had never told him any farm stories. So Nathan and I are dong farm stories now.

You are such a good Grandma. The boys are so lucky to have you. Molly and Lance are lucky also. I know Molly REALLY needed the break you gave her. Thanks for being there.
I can't believe you'd leave a grandson out! Have fun!
Yup, I think that the hoeing sugar beets would be boring story also, even though I was there doing it to. Sure sounds like alot of fun with story telling. I enjoy reading to our kids when I get the chance to.
Well, you got 1/2 a load ahead in laundry and a full dishwasher of clean dishes, good job! I love story time, and Nathan will always know when he gets left out, you have to keep up with him! What fun!!!
sounds like a fun time. just don't tell the scary farm stories!!!
