This is today. The snow has turned into mucky mud. I get to wallow through that everytime I go to my car. I think I should use the 4 wheeler as a shuttle. My luck it would splash up all over me and I would still be worse off.
I must say that it really has dried out quite a bit today.
Oh and I should point out that all the snow that was covering the foundation yesterday didn't just disappear today. Mike shoveled all that snow out. It took him about 2 hrs. It was easier to shovel the snow out than to try to somehow get all the water out. We didn't want to risk condensation in our new house. (Keep reading my update below this picture.)
Anyway, Genja, my Great saleslady, sorry I need help with a "G" word for her. She emailed me this afternoon. She said that she had tried to call, but couldn't get through. Anyway my house failed it's final walk through inspection today. Why did they wait so long! The linoleum in the front entry way was torn. There were 2 options. 1) Pull up all the linoleum in the entry way and kitchen including taking out the island. And then replacing it with new linoleum. Or 2) upgrading the entry way to laminant. Genja wanted a decision quickly so things wouldn't be delayed so she decided for me to go with the laminant. The linoleum would have taken a week to do. Laminant works for me, but will someone please tell me the difference between linoleum and laminant.
The house will be delivered Monday and Tuesday and set up Tuesday. Things should be well dried out by then. I will try to think of more pictures to send with no progress going on here and keep you updated, if I have internet. I am still considering a trip to Boise so I can personally escort my house here but I'm guessing I'll probably just wait for delivery here.
And I have to give a shout out to Jami. You get better girl. I know you can't come see me when you are in the hospital. You are so amazing and we love you.

I like the mud, it's nice and dark, not red. I think laminate is a layered composite material while linoleum is one layer with a finish. Laminate will last longer.
