possessed garage door

My life has been pretty mundane lately, making my posts pretty mundane also, or I just don't post. Fortunately I have been able to share a bit about Ellie to liven my post up a bit.

Anyway let me tell you about my garage door. I came home a couple of days ago and left the door open while I was doing some things in the garage. I thought I hit the button for it to close as I was walking out the other door. When I came back to the garage, the door was wide open. I thought, "I guess I didn't hit the button to close it." So I hit the button, the door started to close and I went into the house. When I came out a few minutes later the garage door was still open. How can a garage door play mind games with me? Anyway, I hit the button again and this time I stood and watched. The door closed and then opened right back up. Wheeew! I wasn't going crazy. My door was a little out of alignment, one side didn't touch the ground when the other side was on the ground. It was gradually getting worse so now the low side hit the ground and the door thought it was hitting something and the safety device caused it to open again. At least it waited to do it until I was home instead of doing it when I left to run my errands.
It is all fixed and the door and I are both happy.
