I'll sure be glad when St. Patrick's Day is here so I can change this ugly background.
Did anyone notice that I already missed a day of posting my house adventures? Well Bill the Builder visited me yesterday morning. He needed some more paper work and some money. He said that he would go take care of the building permit for me. That didn't break my heart.
A couple of nights ago, I was really tired and woke up during the night to a slow, beeping noise. At 1st I thought that if I ignored it, it will go away. I soon found out that that was not going to work. As I woke up more I figured out that it must be my TPN pump. I have a new pump that I am using and still trying it get used to it. I thought that the batteries must be going dead so I replaced the batteries. It wasn't long and the beeping started again. Now I figured it out. It was my cell phone. I never have it in the bedroom at night, but had used it there just before I went to sleep and the battery was going low. At the time, I thought that the phone would just turn itself off and I would charge it in the morning. I forgot that the darn thing would keep beeping before it died. I quickly remembered why the cell phone is banned from my bedroom.
Now I will tell what elicited my blog title. Last night the lady that is inheriting our old house stopped by to find out when the house would be hers. I told her that we would finish moving out on the 21st. She said that the guy that is moving it for them wanted to know if he could come start working on things to get it ready to move. I said sure and figured that it would be a few days before he came. Nope! I was gone this morning. When I came home I found that part of my skirting had been taken off. I hadn't been home long before my new friend, Mario the Mover, was at my door. He wanted to know if he could put the axles on tomorrow and I think he is going to work on the hitch too. Then he talked about moving my deck for us. I reminded him that we still need the deck. He asked if I had much stuff in the house. Uhm, yah!. This is where I live! And I will be living here for another 10 days (I think). He agreed that we should leave the deck for now. But he let me know that he is very willing to move it when we are ready. Then he said he will take down the front fence for me. He was all excited to cut down our tree but that job is reserved for Lance (maybe). Anyway, right now it is pretty funny. But I told Mike that I may wake up some morning and think I am feeling an earthquake but instead it will be my house being pulled down the street. I don't dare leave the house for very long......maybe it won't be here when I get back. Yes, I will keep you posted. Maybe I should put my 72 hr kit in my car so I have some rations. And Mike was worried that they would hold us up because they didn't haul the house off soon enough.
